Getting to Know You: Favorite Fiction

I follow @pureEtsy on Twitter, having an Etsy account myself for my candles, and occasionally they’ll tweet fun questions such as:

“What is your favorite fictional story?  (novel, movie, fairytale, etc)”

When I was little, my answer may have been something like “Cinderella”. Who wouldn’t want to have a Fairy Godmother, go to a ball, dance with a prince, wear glass slippers, and live happily ever after? I’ve long since moved away from fairy tales, as fun as they may be, and my current answer would have to be “Back to the Future”.

This is probably the movie I’ve seen the most in my life and the only one that I will watch on t.v. no matter what part I catch. Usually I need to watch movies from the very beginning but this movie is the exception. That, and A Christmas Story. I can watch just about any movie that deals with time travel, but this is by far the best in my opinion. Most people seem to like only the first one, but I have to say that I have come to appreciate all three. The series is definitely a staple in my collection.

Fun fact: A few Christmas’s ago, my dad and I both agreed to give each other the 25th anniversary trilogy addition to each other. He loves it, too!
