Today I’m thankful for getting up early and taking a friend with us to The Apple House, which was a much needed pit stop on our way to ride the golden lined road of Skyline Drive, here in Virginia (post coming soon!).

Thankful for fresh doughnuts from the Apple House! Way too yummy…Extra yummy if they’re hot off the press.

Thankful that even though David caught me off guard with this pic, you can still see the gorgeous mountain side behind me!

Thankful for ending the day with pizza made from fresh ingredients and friends.

Thankful that today, eight years ago, my sweetheart proposed! And here we are married almost six years now. Gotta give a shout out to the beginning.
