On a normal Sunday, I am not a morning person. You’ll find me still snuggled in bed until eleven o’clock or so. I’ve always been more of a night owl which means getting up early does not come natural to me. But after a few hours in the ER yesterday (bladder infection – ouch) and going to sleep around eight o’clock last night, I found myself wide awake at 3 A.M. I’m not sure if I just finally got the proper rest I needed or what, but I woke up the hubby, made coffee, and we sat out on our balcony watching the sun come up, listening to the quiet, and enjoying each others company.
If I were a morning person, I would make sure I would do this everyday…or at least on the weekends. It’s moments like this, time alone or with your best friend, that money can’t buy. These are the precious moments you create for yourself, the little moments in life that make you really enjoy it and appreciate what you have. They also make beautiful memories π
Enjoy your Sunday, everyone!

Ya know, I think we could be roommates! We’re similar in so many ways. I wonder if our husbands would mind? π I’m glad you’re back home and I hope you’re feeling better. I’m typing this while enjoying my flower pot sized mug of coffee at the computer. π
HA! LOVE IT! I’ve thought the same thing! If only we lived closer π¦ We could make Fall EXTRA cozy between the two of us and our ideas!
Mornings like this is what I believe keeps marriages together, darling. Never underestimate the power of quiet, conversation, and soaking in all the good things (like a sunrise and hot coffee).
Aww, thank you for that note! I agree! The little things are truly the big things!
